The Bomb

"The Bomb" is a play written by Kevin Dyer commissioned by Action transport for anyone over the age of 14. It is inspired by the story of Pat Magee and Jo Berry. It toured in spring and autumn 2006. As a company Action Transport look for plays which, through characters who are at the edges of human experience, explore the kinds of universal themes that connect to everyone – anger, forgiveness, bravery, violence and love. Action Transport is interested in plays which entertain, stretch and challenge ourselves and audiences and believe ‘The Bomb’ does just this.

Jo offers workshops after the performances for young people to share their feelings and experiences.
