The Corporación Parque por la Paz Villa Grimaldi is funded through dues from its 216 members and donations from visitors to the Park and others who support our work. Donations can be made directly on-line by transferring to the following savings account: Banco Estado: account number 34860465762 RUT.73.296.600-5. If you would like to make a monthly contribution that is deducted directly from your current account or credit card, please send us the Bank and account number and the person in charge of finances at the Corporación will be in touch with you so that you may sign a mandate.

Who can become a member and how are dues paid?

Any adult who supports the goals of the Corporación and who is interested in participating in the activities of Villa Grimaldi or in helping to carry out its activities can become a member. In order to be an active member, a person must be nominated by two other active members and pay dues of at least one thousand pesos per month.

The Corporación Parque por la Paz Villa Grimaldi is a non-profit group and, since it took over the maintenance and organization of the Villa a little over two years ago, has carried out its work with:

1) Donations and dues from members and friends.

2) Income from the sale of books and refreshments, etc.

3) The construction carried out in the Villa to improve its infrastructure, including bathrooms, a multi-purpose room, scale model of the villa, visual information (signs, etc.), amphitheatre and equipment and reconstruction of the tower were paid for with grants for specific projects and with donations from friends of the Villa outside of Chile - in the Netherlands, Belgium and Great Britain.

4) The invaluable volunteer work on the part of former prisoners has allowed us to keep Villa Grimaldi open to visitors and provide guides for groups of school children, university students, foreign visitors, etc. who come here every day to learn about this site.
