An Urgent Letter to President Obama

September 11th Families for Peaceful Tomorrows

September 11th Families for Peaceful Tomorrows, a national organization of more than 200 relatives of victims of the 9/11 attacks, have released this video appeal to President Obama, which urges him uphold the rule of law and American justice by trying terror suspects including the alleged mastermind of the attacks, Khalid Sheik Mohammed, in civilian courts rather than military commissions.

Members of Peaceful Tomorrows met last year with Attorney General Holder to voice their support for civilian trials and urged him to stick to his plan. However, the news that the White House is in talks with Senator Graham led the group to appeal directly to the President.
