Here is the statement of the Afghan Women’s Network, the only network of Afghan women and is active within the country and the region. If you are interested in the perspective of Afghan WOMEN in the peace process, please, read the attached statement. Besides a summary of recent history, a description of the initiatives undertaken and accomplished, and most importantly, what is yet to be done.

The voice of Afghan women is often not heard in our media coverage. It is crucial that we listen.
